About Black & beech

Black & Beech was created by me, Stacey Grant-Canham, as a part-time side hustle whilst on maternity leave with my first son. Since then, Black & Beech has evolved into a brand with a mission: to fuse a passion for feminism and activism with a commitment to provocative, ethical, and sustainable fashion. Fashion is a powerful form of expression and an effective tool for empowerment.

The tank top with attitude ( and a soft core )

I succumbed to buying the woollen tank top in the sale after months of hanging back. What a waste of time when I could have been wearing it ! It’s gorgeous. Incredibly soft , skilfully knitted and it’s a puzzle teaser at the pub for those that feel it’s too rude to stare and work out what it says. If they get it - they can be in my gang any time. Most ask where I got it from :)

Love the item!

It arrived very fast. I like everything about it, it is soft, warm and seems like good quality. The sizeing is cool, as the bigger ones will actually really fit bigger persons. I accidentally ordered mine too big, but a few minutes of handstitching changed that quickly. The parts are knit in a way that such an alteration does not affect readability of the important messages on the garment :) Would definitely buy again! Thanks!
