Feminists Don't Wear Pink & Other Lies Embroidered Sweatshirt

We are beyond proud to be an official brand partner for Penguins bestseller Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (and Other Lies), curated by Scarlett Curtis.

This collection has been launched in the Google pop-up Curiosity Shop in Londons Piccadilly where they have been worn by staff at the store who are promoting the book which aims to spread the feminist message and also raise money and awareness for Girl Up, a charity founded by the United Nations Foundation, which works to empower young women and girls across the globe.

We are donating 10% off the RRP to Girl Up.

Black & Beech are partnering with Feminists Don’t Wear Pink by producing a t-shirt and sweater to sell alongside the book here on our website.

Using organic cotton, produced in FairWear certified factories with transparent supply chains we feel our offering is in line with the feminist message of the book. This partnership celebrates our ethos of empowerment, intersectional feminism and inspiring conversation around issues.

Scarlett Curtis, curator of Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (and Other Lies), says: ‘I am ridiculously excited to be working with Monki, Google and Black & Beech. The goal of Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (and Other Lies) was always to share the feminist message with as many people as possible and to raise money for our charity partner Girl Up. This is why we so passionately wanted a presence in a high street retailer to reach young people who wouldn’t necessarily go into a bookshop and teenage girls who we made the book for. These three partnerships combine a conscious high street brand, a tech giant and an incredible small, independent, female owned clothing line. I believe we have found the perfect partners to help us achieve our goals.’
