It’s a real joy to share our handmade notebooks with you.
In a world of technology, speed and mass production, sometimes pleasure can be found in traditional simplicity and unwavering attention to detail…
Our bookbinder (who made the notebooks for the latest G7 summit no less) is based in the beautiful Georgian town of Stamford, and have created something really special for us. All these notebooks are hand bound, in the workshop in Stamford, by true craftspeople using centuries old techniques and some 'modern' equipment – carrying out all aspects of production; including the printing of paper, folding, sewing, trimming. case making and casing in.
Here we have forest green tastefully finished with a contrasting pale pink elastic closure and ribbon page marker. (Pic shows incorrect ribbons)
Debossed, by creating a metal die of Stacey's hand lettering including all the feminist phrases you need to smash the patriarchy each and every day.
Each notebook is completed with beautiful, British-made paper that has been carefully selected for use with fountain pens and not only guarantees minimal ‘feathering’, but is reasonably opaque and has nominal show-through.
