Designed by Black & Beech and created in Scotland, our mittens use a beautiful merino lambswool yarn spun in Yorkshire. These supersoft cosy mittens make the perfect gift for yourself, your pals, and all the feminists in your life. Original and iconic, this design is one of a kind.

Our production partners in Scotland have been creating products for luxury and premium brands since the 1800s, and everything is made in-house to the highest standards of ethical and sustainable production. Knitting these in the round means that not a scrap of yarn is wasted and the fit is perfect.
These mittens are:

- 100 per cent merino lambswool
- available in seven colours which complement our scarves and snoods
- packaged in recyclable materials
Wool is a natural fibre which can be very long-lasting if cared for correctly.

The yarn we use is spun in the UK, and is non mulesed, and our supplier ensures the animals are well cared for and adhere to the RSPCA 5 freedoms.
Wool is a natural renewable and biodegradable material, therefore at the end of life after repairing it will biodegrade back into the earth.
Our manufacturer for accessories is based in Scotland and we have been able to visit and meet the people who make our knitwear. They are a Woolmark licensee, Sedex member and a close collaborator of the Ethical Trade Initiative, also members of UKFT and Textiles Scotland.
Importantly by supporting this industry we can ensure the artisan skills of local people are kept alive and a community can thrive in this country.
Our garments are knitted in Portugal and we hope to visit the team there in 2024.
