Our Do No Harm Take No Shit cardigan is knitted in Portugal by a family run factory, using our signature Yorkshire-spun merino lambswool. This original knitwear design combines quality and sustainability with an assertive message.

This fully-fashioned cardigan includes:

raglan sleeves with integral jacquard lettering
patch pockets
corozo nut 'vegetable ivory' buttons

Corozo nut is a 100 per cent natural, sustainable, and renewable product, which means no plastic is used in the garment.

Black & Beech recommends that you measure a similar garment for reference. The chest measurement is key.

Our measurements include: an approximate UK standard size equivalent; the width in centimetres across the front at 1 cm below the armpit; the length in centimetres.

XS (UK 6--8): 46 cm chest laid flat; 56 cm length
S (UK 8--10): 50 cm chest laid flat; 58 cm length
M (UK 12--14): 54 cm chest laid flat; 60 cm length
L (UK 16--18): 58 cm chest laid flat; 62 cm length

Wool is a natural fibre which can be very long-lasting if cared for correctly.

The yarn we use is spun in the UK, and is non mulesed, and our supplier ensures the animals are well cared for and adhere to the RSPCA 5 freedoms.

Wool is a natural renewable and biodegradable material, therefore at the end of life after repairing it will biodegrade back into the earth.

Our buttons are made from Corozo – a completely natural & biodegradable material. Most buttons are plastic so we love using this.

Our manufacturer is based in Portugal and we hope to visit in 2023/24 and meet the people who make our knitwear.

Our knitwear is fully fashioned and linked together, this means each panel is knitted in the exact shape we need and therefore is virtually zero waste.
