War Child

War Child is the only specialist charity for children affected by conflict.  They aim to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out and support them long after the cameras have gone.

War Child deliver life-changing services and support in communities affected by conflicts to keep children safe and help them to heal and learn for the chance of a better future.

2024 has begun with unrelenting violence in the Middle East with no clear end in sight. 2023 saw the continuation of the war in Ukraine, tragic earthquakes in Syria and Afghanistan and countless forgotten crises. Globally, the number of children living in armed conflict has risen to 230 million.

Children in Gaza are living through an unprecedented crisis, every day waking up to a nightmare - terrifying bombs, little to eat and nowhere to go. Many have seen their family and friends die or left with life-threatening injuries.  The emotional impact this will have on them is unimaginable.

War Child staff and partners are doing everything they can to support families but supplies in Gaza are extremely limited and there's nowhere near enough to go around. By supporting this campaign, you will be supporting War Child to provide essential hygiene kits, mental health support and warm clothes. The needs of children will be huge, and War Child can't do it without you.
