Our Impact

Our impact this year...

Women's History Month is here and our message feels more relevant than ever.

I started creating feminist clothing as a reaction to the Trump government/Brexit and the fight for bodily autonomy in Ireland.

Now ten years later we have a war started by men in Iran started  to distract from the abuses of women and children, a wholesale reckoning with how prolific such abuse is and the rise of the far right in our communities.

One thing I know is that women are the peacemakers, and mothers are creating revolution at home, in schools, in conversations everyday.
This year we’ve done a few things to mark the month as a community, and to support organisations doing vital work for women and girls. Alongside our events, we’ve supported Girls Who Talk Politics, Amnesty Feminists Network, Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity, and Rights of Women.

Friday 6th March: Superwoman in CDF
Stacey did a talk on Friday to open up honest conversations around women’s rights, and building a business with purpose. Donations from ticket sales will go to our grassroots pals over at SAFE and Im excited to see what we raised.

Supporting Women for Women
£5 of every LES tees sold this month will be donated Women for Women UK who help women survivors of war rebuild their lives and choose their own futures.

Saturday 8th March: The March
On Saturday we headed to the International Women’s Day march in Cardiff at the Betty Campbell Statue, wearing our gear loud and proud and giving women their literal and metaphorical flowers.

Tuesday 10th March: Book Launch
Stacey is heading to Glasgow to host the launch of Lauren Curries book Be Upfront all about women and confidence. Tickets are still live  here. If your'e coming please come say hey!
