Job Title: Seasonal Fulfilment Assistant (Zero Hours)

Reports to: Founder 

Location: Black & Beech HQ, Cardiff

Contract Type: Zero Hours – seasonal, October to January Ad Hoc

 

 

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Fulfilment Assistant to join our small, purpose-led team over our busiest time of year. This is a hands-on role in our Cardiff warehouse, supporting the smooth running of Christmas orders. You’ll help with stock preparation, order picking and packing, folding T-shirts, and general warehouse tasks to ensure our customers receive their orders beautifully packed and on time.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare stock for sale, including unpacking deliveries, labelling, and organising shelves.

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders, following brand presentation standards.

  • Fold and prepare garments for packing to our quality guidelines.

  • Assist with stock counts, inventory checks, and replenishment.

  • Keep the packing area and warehouse tidy and organised.

  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks as required during the peak trading period.

 

 

Skills & Experience

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately at pace.

  • A positive, team-focused attitude.

  • Physically able to lift and move boxes (up to 10kg) and be on your feet for most of the shift.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or fulfilment role is helpful but not essential.

  • Willingness to be flexible with shifts, including occasional evenings or weekends if needed.

  • Use of a car is not required but may be helpful.

 

 

Hours & Pay

  • Contract: Zero hours, seasonal from October to December.

  • Hours will be offered depending on business needs and may vary weekly.

  • Rate: £12.60 per hour, paid monthly in arrears. The Real UK Living Wage.
